The BMW ALPINA V8 Roadster Limited Edition was assembled in just 555 units between June 2002 and October 2003. Compared to the original E52 series, the ALPINA-tuned Z8 was a more puristic model in the sense that it was oriented more towards a comfortable, pleasurable ride in the utmost GT fashion.

Our ABODA MODEL is the 61th out of 555 units

Titled Roadster V8 Limited Edition, this Z8-based ALPINA open-top model from the early 2000s is the perfect symbiosis between a seductive design and unparalleled, pure grand turismo driving comfort and performance.

Compared to the Z8 which used to have a BMW S62 V8 unit linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the ALPINA V8 Roadster was powered by the BMW M62 4.8-liter V8 engine also found on the E39 5 Series ALPINA B10 V8 S model. Coded F5 by the Buchloe-based tuner, the powerplant developed a peak output of 280 kW / 381 PS (375 hp).

The roadster would reach 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.
